Significant AjaxLife updates

Development

AjaxLife has had a slew of new features added today:

  • Inventory browsing
  • Viewing of notecards, scripts and textures
  • Teleporting to landmarks in your inventory
  • Doesn’t Ruth any more, generally speaking.
  • Region stats window
  • Nearby avatars window
  • Offering teleports via profiles
  • MobileSafari (iPhone/iPod touch) gets a different login screen. Unfortunately, the login button on said screen isn’t implemented yet, so it doesn’t do much.

Here’s a nice, very crowded screenshot showing many of these things at once:
AjaxLife - Very Cluttered!

NOTE: It is highly unlikely this will work in IE6, and it may not work in IE7 either. However, I’m too tired to chase down browsers that don’t deserve to exist.

Amazing work. Wish I’d thought of it myself.
Kudos on the iPhone, iPod Touch mobile support. I’m getting my ipod Touch the 16th - the 23rd.
    Besides, it rocks.

    Yup.

This is revision 26 now. Note that, generally speaking, only every other revision counts, due to the client and server being committed separately.

Wow, this is really impressive! Anyway, I think SL is already dead. Maybe you should focus on something else next time when you get bored. I think you can create another amazing project. Keep up your work! :-)

    Katharine,

Thumbs up! AjaxLife is looking better with every release.
If a Dutch translation of the GUI is useful, please contact me. I’d be happy to translate for you.

    Hi Katherine,

    very nice work.

how did you learn to program and use Ext at such an early age?

I have tried and tried to use Ext but keep failing miserable… how much programming experience did you have prior to your SL AJAX site?

Hi I notice that when I try this on Firefox 2 I get a “Timed Out” error.

I get the same error on IE 7.
